“It’s funny the places we find ourselves in, realizing we were never so lost at all.”

Deep words from my journal 10 or so years ago, thinking that was the end of a difficult chapter. Little did I know, I was at the base of the mountain ahead. I am grateful I never stopped climbing (metaphorically and in real life) and experienced the traumas that led to my continuous healing journey. I genuinely believe my purpose is guiding and supporting others with their own mountains, hoping it is a less strenuous path and finding humor along the way.

I grew up in Minnesota lakes country and currently reside in the Fargo Moorhead area. I enjoy traveling- both solo and with others, hiking, comedy shows, weight lifting, any kind of documentary (especially murder mysteries), and spending time with my doggo Theo.

Professionally, I have worked in numerous settings including county case management roles in substance use and civil commitment, a member of the Clay County Drug Court Panel, children and families in child protection, outpatient and residential substance use facilities, DWI Driving with Care education, and as a clinical supervisor for substance use counselors.

I am currently a Licensed Graduate Social Worker and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Minnesota and a Licensed Masters Social Worker in North Dakota.

Hi, I’m morgan. A bit about me.
